february daybook
Outside my window…snow! such a strange winter, this…
I am thinking…too far ahead; I am trying to remain in the present.
I am thankful…to have so much to look forward to.
In the kitchen…dough is rising.
I am wearing…yoga pants & a sweater, which sounds much better than “my pajamas,” which is what they really are.
I am creating…treasure bags that should have been in the mail last Saturday, for a craft swap.
I am going…to the library with Julia & Asher; I suppose we’ll have to drive if it rains this afternoon.
I am wondering…whether we’ll be in this house long enough to plant anything this spring.
I am reading…Everyday Blessings. still…
I am hoping…to finish these darn bags today so I can get started on Asher’s quilt.
I am listening to…’True North‘.
I am looking forward to…whatever changes the springtime might bring our way.
I am learning…patience. every day.
Around the house…much cleaning to be done, to prepare for Tuesday’s open house.
I am pondering…how best to go about paring down the boxed-up things in the attic.
A favorite quote for today…’You can’t change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails’.
One of my favorite things…snuggling on the couch with my babies, which I am just about to do after I hit ‘publish’…
A few plans for the rest of the week: sewing, cleaning, knitting…you know, the usual…
A peek into my day…

Playing along today with the simple woman’s daybook.

Good luck on the open house!!
Open House and purging…I know those joys! I hope it goes very well for you.
Happy weekend!
